Stampin Up! #ELFIE Card

Hi everyone!

I couldn't resist I had to make a card with Stampin Up! #ELFIE stamp set. The elves in the stamp set are just too cute for words. I had so much fun making this card and I was really itching to make it. I know it's super early for Christmas cards but with a stamp set like this it is hard to resist!! I coloured the elf image with my watercolour pencils and I blended the background with Stampin Up! Whisper White Pigment Ink. Stampin Up! Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder Hoot Hoot Hooray Flower Card

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing my latest card creation using Stampin Up! Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder, Hoot Hoot Hooray and Well Said stamp sets. Also used were the Smooth Sailing Dies, Layering Squares Dies and Stitched Shapes Dies. I coloured the flower image with watercolour pencils. I used Basic Gray and Pineapple Punch cardstock. Stampin Up! Leave a Little Sparkle Blue and Purple Unicorn Card

Hi everyone!

Today I am featuring the beautiful Leave a Little Sparkle stamp set with an ink blended background with make up brushes. I used Stampin Up! Balmy Blue and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Milled Lavender. I used the Distress Ink as an equivalent to Purple Posy. I coloured the unicorn with my Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Watercolour Pencils and blended the colours with the Stampin Up! Blender Pen. Stampin Up! All Wired Up Piggy Card

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing my latest card creation which is (in my opinion) super cute!! I used Stampin Up! All Wired Up background stamp and the oldie but goodie, This Little Piggy stamp set. I also used the Stitched Shaped Dies. I used my Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Watercolour Pencils to colour the flying pig image and I used my make up brushes to colour the circle in Balmy Blue. TIP: I embossed the All Wired Up image in gold and it gave the chicken wire image a more classy and elegant look. This in turn can be paired with any image not just farm or critter based ones.

Stampin Up! No Line Watercolouring Floral Essence To A Wild Rose Card

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing an easy no line watercolouring card, using Stampin Up! Floral Essence, To A Wild Rose stamp set and dies and the Subtle 3D folder. You may purchase these items through my online store at http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/pepperlyrose/

The method of no line watercolouring was something I was very intimidated by and when I tried it. I had made a very big mess of it, so I decided to try a different way of doing this method. I found that using my beloved watercolour pencils with either a blender pen or aqua painter, was by far the best way for me. Using watercolour paper is by far the best option as you can move the colour around easily, but I also found that using Whisper White cardstock is also possible with great results using a blender pen.

I'm sharing a clean and simple, yet sweet elephant card, using Stampin Up! A Little Wild stamp set. I also used the Stitched Shaped dies with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. For the stripes I used my Simply Scored Scoring Tool. I also used the Rectangle Stitched Framelit Dies. Stampin Up! By The Bay Night Scene Card

Hi everyone,

Today I am showing a night scene card using Stampin Up! By The Bay stamp set, which is a free Sale-a-bration set. This card didn't exactly turn out the way I had wanted it but I am showing it nonetheless. I put this out there for all to see that as papercrafters we have our bad days and things don't always work out the way we think it will, warts and all. It doesn't matter that our crafts aren't perfect as long as we enjoy the process and have fun with it. We also learn from our mistakes. In the end I like that the card is unique. I hope this has inspired you to create one of your own with your own touches.

Stampin Up! Perfectly Paired Card

Today I am sharing a simple card made with the Perfectly Paired stamp set. I love this stamp set, so cute!!! This card is made with Crumb Cake cardstock and inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the images with watercolour pencils. What I love about watercolour pencils is that you can colour on dark colour cardstock! I love the versatility of watercolour pencils and you can use them dry or with wet techniques like with water or blender pens!
